This version of the LineShare software has many new features not covered in the manual.
The user interface has been modified: the "Options" button was added to the panel. It brings the "Options" dialog box, so you can modify the script parameters without detaching the script. See the "Release Notes" file.
If your modem supports Class 2 fax commands, and you use Class 2 fax software, try the new "Fax Class2&ARA&Data" script first.
You can use this script if you want only two of those three services to coexist: the script detects that some ports are not open and uses the simplified procedure.
If your modem supports only Class 1 fax commands, and you use Class 1 fax software, try the new "Fax Class1&ARA&Data" script first - this script is recommended if your modem cannot distinguish between fax and data calls.
On some systems Finder does not route the ARA/LineShare file to the Extension folder automatically. If it has been put into the System Folder, move it to the Extension folder manually.

If there is no script supporting your modem, you can use "Generic" scripts. Please, read the "Generic Scripts Guide".
Fax Software: it is recommended for to set the "Number of RINGs before answering" to 1.
